Scope of Position:

Reporting to the Human Resource Director-Operations, The Senior HR Manager, Sourcing and Supply Chain will provide HR consultation and direction in people strategy, change management, data analytics, organizational development, design and talent development. You will define the optimum workforce composition and accelerate hiring, onboarding and skill development of our employees and teams. You will partner with the Centers of Excellence to provide deep knowledge and guidance in Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition. As a Senior HR Manager, you will work in a complex, matrix culture and will need to closely partner with senior leaders to create our people ecosystem designed to deliver customer and business outcomes.

This is a hands-on role working closely with multiple senior leaders that manage team members across the Watts enterprise. This is a people manager position leading a team of one covering our distribution facilities.

This is a hybrid position and can be based in our North Andover, MA, Groveport, OH or Ft. Worth, TX location.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Business Consulting: Provide HR business consulting on complex topics to multiple senior leaders. You will advise, coach and facilitate discussion with leaders to develop workforce planning. You will also partner with the leaders to drive the vision and strategy for their respective teams.
  • Employee Relations: Expert in employee relations, terminations and performance management. Ensure sound employee relations policies are developed, communicated and implemented, engaging legal counsel as necessary.
  • Talent Attraction Strategy: Guide leaders in developing a "buy, build, borrow" strategy for talent and collaborate with Talent Acquisition to hire new and diverse talent as needed by the business.
  • Leadership Development: Develop leadership strategies targeted to the management level and work closely with corporate Talent Management experts to implement what makes sense for a high growth and dynamic business.
  • Talent Development: Translate needs into development programs that accelerate career journeys and by helping managers learn to coach and develop high performing teams. Champion the consistent utilization of performance management and assessment tools to continually develop leaders.
  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: Drive initiatives that foster an environment of belonging and inclusion. Strong focus on attracting, engaging, and retaining diverse talent pipelines.
  • Change Management: Facilitate the development of a high-performing team, driving culture change through initiatives that evolve the culture and the talent. Provide support as work occurs with cross-functional teams across multiple departments to design and implement such solutions and process improvement to ensure a holistic approach that succeeds for the broader business. Function as a member of the leadership team providing insights and recommendations on ways to continuously improve the organization, implement new growth strategies, and achieve financial objectives.
  • Organizational Design: Align the structure of an organization with its objectives, with the aim of improving efficiency and effectiveness. Leverage HRIS and data analytics for information to support justification for business decisions.Provide strategic consulting to management on HR activities including employee development, workforce planning and job description development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • 10+ years HR experience in a highly matrixed structure. Previous experience working in manufacturing or adjacent industry i.e. Transportation and warehousing, Industrial Services, Supply Chain etc. technology required.

  • Previous managerial experience required

  • HRIS database experience, Workday experience is a plus. Experience using people data and analytics to guide discussions and decisions.

  • Strong leadership and relationship building skills

  • Adept at consulting, advising, and influencing leaders on HR related issues to implement appropriate solutions.

  • Strong communications specific to creating comprehensive communication plans and executive summaries

  • Advanced employee relations skills, with complex investigations

  • Advanced problem solving, interpersonal, and written communication skills

  • Advanced business acumen knowledge with clear ability to partner with senior business leaders.

  • Advanced analytical, troubleshooting, and influencing skills. Ability to develop effective and creative solutions through a consultative approach.

  • Knowledge of federal and state employment law for the US

  • Travel: 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus. HR Certification is a plus.

  • Knowledge of federal and state employment in Canada, Europe and Asia are preferred.

  • Knowledge of union environments and NLBR.

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working in an office environment. You will be required to work in the office at the North Andover, MA, Groveport, OH or Ft. Worth, TX location three days per week (Monday - Wednesday) and can work remotely two days per week (Thursday and Friday).

The expected salary range for this position is $147,000-$167,000 yearly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable law.

Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to remain seated/standing at a desk or workstation for extended periods.

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks like typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods.

  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with management, coworkers, and third parties.

  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers.

  • Ability to physically move around the office and occasionally lift and carry light objects, such as office supplies, documents, or small equipment.
