In addition to concerts on campus, the Intermediate and High School ensembles routinely attend their regional concert performance assessment (adjudication.) We regularly have some students who choose to be a part of more than one ensemble. Our performing arts program includes Band, Choir, Orchestra and Theatre. There is also a School of Dance after school. There is a strong collaboration with the Lipscomb University School of Music. The Academy fine arts team is very mutually supportive - collaborative, not competitive. There are 10 full-time faculty K-12, plus the Fine Arts Director who serves on the Academy Leadership Team alongside principals, athletic director and other administrators. The 6-12 fine arts faculty are direct reports to the Fine Arts Director, who collaborates with relevant school-level principals to best utilize those faculty they share.

Funding is strong, with additional money from an annual school-wide Giving Day. Recently, we received a one million dollar endowment for the Arts that provides additional annual funds. The music wing was renovated this past summer. We do NOT have ensemble specific fundraising. We want class time and teachers to be focused on the music and to provide the necessary resources through tuition dollars and philanthropic gifts.
