The Associate Counsel is responsible for providing legal services support and deliverables to the organization. Essential Job Function Provides legal support on a variety of matters, including corporate and business transactions, physician contracts, patient care issues, privacy and compliance, medical staff matters, and labor and employment issues. Conducts and analyzes legal research in support of operational goals. Review and drafts contracts, leases and other legal documents. Responds trequest for legal advice from cone leaders and peers. Coordinates work with outside counsel as appropriate. Education Required: Completion of a Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school. Experience Experience: 5 years relevant health law experience, with some of this as in-house experience. Licensure/Certification/Listing REQUIRED Valid Driver's License \| Valid Driver's LicenseAdmitted to the North Carolina State Bar, or be eligible for admission within a reasonable time.
