Duties, Responsibilities & Other

The Construction Manager oversees a variety of ISP, OSP, Wireless / In-Building DAS and/or Electrical Project, directing the teams, utilizing technical knowledge and expertise along with strong leadership capabilities. This roles has experience in the management of telephony, structured cabling / inside plant and outside plant construction projects. This role is responsible for oversight of projects schedule and budget as well as quality assurance of contractor's work.

In-Building DAS / Wireless experience.

    7+ years' experience working with OSP and/or ISP cabling and cabling infrastructure.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of TIA/EIA, BICSI, IEEE as they apply to installation of OSI Layer 1 infrastructure.
  • Provide technical design of systems for building projects including telecommunications, electronic security, audio-visual systems, and related technologies.
  • Ability to prepare and engineer drawings, specifications, reports, review technical documents.
  • Reviewing and designing in-building distribution antenna systems.
  • Knowledgeable in the DAS OEM or provider of installation and integration services.
  • Onsite analysis and commissioning using portable test equipment (signal generator, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
  • Ability to perform the installation of various telecommunications equipment in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide capacity enhancement solutions, enterprise and venue design support to offload network capacity analysis.

Qualifications

Education and/or Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience with a high school diploma/GED or minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ability to understand construction plans, specifications, and procedures.
  • Possess the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently.
  • Work effectively as a team member
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with various stakeholders.

Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to maintain required certifications.
