The industry itself is highly stable-corporate clients require continuous support, and relationships tend to be long-term-allowing you to build a reliable and expanding book of business over time.

Candidates should have advanced-level Japanese (speaking and writing), experience in B2B sales or marketing, and the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.

Responsibilities:

Track sales and business development progress by reviewing business goals, sales results, and market conditions.

Support the Business Development Director with reports and updates for executives and senior management in Japan.

Support the execution of the sales process, including prospecting, planning, and new business development.

Collaborate with internal teams to support cross-selling, upselling, and client retention initiatives.

Assist with quality assurance activities, including coordination between sales, account servicing, and carrier partners.

Maintain and manage prospect data, sales activities, and related documentation.

Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, prospects, colleagues, and business partners.

Maintain confidentiality of company and client information.

Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, and/or marketing in a corporate environment; experience supporting relationship-based sales activities is highly preferred.

Advanced-level fluency in Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing).

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

Ability to obtain and maintain the required finance-related license after hire. The company will provide the necessary training materials and support to assist with the licensing process.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, internal teams, and business partners.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
