Summary:Trident Seafoods is looking for a skilled network and systems administratorto help maintain and evolve our on-premises and hybrid IT infrastructure. This role supports core network services, Windows Server environments, virtualization, storage, and light Azure integrations.

Essential Functions:

  • Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and file/print services.
  • Install, manage and support server and network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless systems, LAN/WAN, and VPN.
  • Maintain virtualization platforms (Hyper-V) and monitor server performance and storage.
  • Perform system patching, firmware updates, and security hardening.
  • Support hybrid identity (AD + Microsoft Entra ID) and Azure resource administration.
  • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2/3 infrastructure issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and occasional after-hours maintenance windows.
  • Regularly worksonsite to buildstrong teamconnections, collaborate across functions, and solve problems in real time.

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a non-exempt position with an hourly pay rate range of $45 to $52 per hour.

Minimum Requirements

Travel/On-CallRequirements:

  • Travel up to 50%, including day trips to Washington facilities along the I-5 corridor (with mileage and meal reimbursement) and to other Trident locations as needed.
  • Participates in an after-hours/on-call rotation.

RequiredQualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in network and systems administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Active Directory (Linux a plus).
  • Solid experience with Hyper-Vor Azure Local.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

PreferredEducation & Experiences:

  • Certifications such as Network+, CCNA, or applicableMicrosoft Certification.
  • Experience with hybrid environments (Azure preferred).
  • Cable management including pulling and terminating, fiber a plus.
  • Disaster recovery planning with Azure Site Recovery.
  • Familiarity with system configuration, monitoring and backup tools (e.g., MS Configuration Manager, Operations Manager, SolarWinds, Rubrik).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities(KSAs):

  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Excellent trouble shooting and documentation skills.
  • Basic PowerShell or scripting knowledge.

Work Environment:

This is an on-site position based at the Trident Support Center office in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

In-office time takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. While remote, employees must provide appropriate home office space.
