About the Role

The Director, Client Management, is an expert in Absence Management and oversees strategy, management, and retention for a complex, high-revenue client portfolio. They align account strategies with client goals, business needs, and desired outcomes to ensure customer success, value realization, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Impacting outcomes related to client satisfaction, adoption, engagement, and business outcomes.
  • Driving Alight's financial results, including solution expansion and contract renewals.
  • Building, leading, and developing teams focused on strategic client/broker relationship management, client value realization, solution expansion, and client retention.
  • Managing multiple client relationships and large-scale projects, ensuring successful execution while independently handling risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Communicating complex ideas, anticipating objections, and persuading others to adopt an alternative point of view, often at senior levels of leadership.
  • Negotiating highly complex expansion and renewal contracts with external partners, clients, and vendors.
  • Developing and building meaningful and trusted relationships across internal teams, customer stakeholders, and key influential third-party stakeholders, particularly broker consultants.
  • Working closely with the Solutions Delivery team post-sale to ensure a smooth transition from Implementation to Service. Advocating to ensure business readiness and client success.
  • Strategizing, preparing, and conducting Quarterly and Annual Client Business Reviews. Tailoring content to foster client-focused discussions and aligning value-driven messaging with client-specific needs, goals, and outcomes.
  • Demonstrating a high degree of resiliency and adaptability. Taking responsibility for actions and decisions and is focused on solutions vs setbacks or obstacles.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct Client/Broker Relationship management experience.
  • Have education of a bachelor's or higher in related discipline.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, relationship development, negotiation, and issue resolution skills with C-Suite Executives and key Client/Broker contacts.
  • Display compelling analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Have experience in managing pricing strategies and financial modeling.
  • Have experience leading innovative and effective client engagement strategies focused on client satisfaction, retention, and expansion.
  • Possess ability to partner with the Sales/Commercial Team to identify expansion opportunities.
  • Be proficient in communication, business, financial expertise, and executive presence.
  • Have experience in HR services, outsourcing, business management, or disability, absence, and healthcare.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum :

180,000.00 USD

Maximum :

220,000.00 USD
