What to Expect
Tesla isseekinga meticulous and highly organized Component Engineer to join our dynamic team in Palo Alto, CA. As a Component Engineer, you will play a crucial role inour electronic supply chainensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of semiconductor electronic components, integrated circuits, passives, and electromechanical components used in Teslaproducts.Additionally, as the supply chain matures, thecomponentengineer plays a critical role in helping Tesla refine the supply chain to key supplier partners that share our vision and exit non-performing suppliers. This role will be part of thecomponentSupply Chain Management (SCM) organization and supporting all Tesla products thatutilizean electronic control unit / system and features semiconductor and electromechanical components on Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA). The key partnering organizations are electronic design engineers, product lifecycle management (PLM) administrators, Electronic Computer Aided Design (ECAD) administrators, supply chain managers (SCMs), and supplier industrialization engineers (SIEs); thecomponentengineerrepresentsa bridge across these functions.
