What will you be doing?

* Monitor club lounge for seating availability, service, safety, cleanliness and well-being of guests.

* Provide courteous, professional, and personalized service to all lounge guests.

* Proactively engage with guests by initiating conversation and maintaining a visible and attentive presence within the lounge.

* Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly, efficiently, and with discretion.

* Maintain a polished and professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

* Ensure the lounge area remains clean, organized, and compliant with brand and property standards.

* Maintain appropriate inventory levels of glassware, beverages, food items, and lounge supplies; report shortages as needed.

* Perform side work and opening/closing duties, including restocking, sanitation procedures, and equipment checks.

* Adhere strictly to all federal, state, and local laws regarding food handling and alcohol service.

* Comply with all liquor laws and responsible alcohol service guidelines, including proper identification verification and monitoring of alcohol consumption.

* Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and brand standards.

* Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

* Complete additional projects, assignments, and operational tasks as directed by management.

What you will bring to the role?

* Must be able to work days, Husker Game Days, and the ability to work under pressure.

* Ability to obtain and maintain an active Lancaster County Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service Training Certification as well as any additional training / certification requirements per Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Marriott and Lancaster County.

* Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner. This involves listening to the nature of concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer and providing positive and proactive solutions.

* Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service levels for a high volume restaurant.

* Must be detail-orientated, able to multi-task, produce high quality and accurate work as well as show professionalism in all facets of the workplace.

* Must be able to represent the company in a professional, well-groomed and courteous manner at all times. Excellent conversation and etiquette skills, interpersonal, listening and communication skills to include the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.
