The ideal candidate will oversee maintenance and repairs of heavy equipment along with medium duty and light duty vehicles at project sites throughout Alaska minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment is properly maintained. The ability to work independently with limited supervision will be necessary. This position will report directly to the lead mechanic or Project Superintendent. This position may require travel to remote sites as needed while supporting other QAP projects. This is a Union position and will require membership of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 302. Mechanic Responsibilities
