Description We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support a Sr Project Manager on IT infrastructure initiatives for construction and renovation projects. This role will start with administrative responsibilities and progressively involve learning project processes. The position is ideal for candidates with foundational project coordination experience, or who are eager to grow within IT infrastructure project coordination. Someone coming from a administrative, communications, or IT backgroud would be a fit for this role. We are open to candidates that have done some form of documentation, running meetings, purchase orders, and budgeting. Key Responsibilities Include: Assist Sr Project Managers with large-scale projects (e.g., multi-floor hospital upgrades). Coordinate meetings, scheduling, and documentation for project activities and meetings. Manage ordering processes and maintain accurate records. Understanding of cost structure. Not necessarily building budgets, but some form of budgeting experience. Act as a liaison between real estate teams and project management. Ensure timely communication and follow-up on project deliverables under PM supervision. Skills Project coordination, Project management, Microsoft office, Schedule meetings, Reporting, Project scheduling, Project planning, site survey, documentation writing, microsoft excel, cost analysis, budgeting, Project coordinating, Project plan Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience: 6 months-3 years (up to 5 years) in project coordination or something similar; this is an intermediate/entry-level coordinator role but not an entry-level position. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Basic understanding of IT infrastructure. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work in a hybrid environment and attend project sites across Suffolk County (furthest being South Hampton) Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Patchogue, NY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
