Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience).

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers' missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar and everything in between.

Utilizing your creativity and innovative engineering skills, you'll participate in engineering teams supporting experiment design, materials, equipment setup and maintenance and related issues as well as perform research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting and repairing of devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems. You'll also provide technical expertise to customers, users or company personnel either at domestic or international field sites.

A Configuration and Data Management Specialist establishes and maintains control over product data, ensuring the integrity and traceability of hardware, software, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. They facilitate the change management process and ensure all stakeholders are working with the correct version of data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and maintains Configuration Management Plans.
  • Establishes and manages configuration baselines for hardware, software, and associated documentation.
  • Administers the change control process by processing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), waivers, and deviations.
  • Manages and controls engineering data, drawings, and documents within a Product Data Management (PDM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
  • Performs configuration status accounting to track and report on the status of product configuration to program teams and customers.
  • Conducts and supports configuration audits, such as Physical and Functional Configuration Audits (PCAs/FCAs), to verify compliance with baselines.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of configuration and data management principles (identification, control, status accounting, and verification/audits).
  • Proficiency with PDM/PLM systems and related configuration management tools.
  • Experience in managing engineering change processes and documentation.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills for maintaining data integrity.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with engineering, quality, and program management teams.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, parts lists, and product structures.


Target salary range: USD $74,714.00/Yr. - USD $80,842.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
