Director IT Project Management (Infrastructure and Cybersecurity)

We are seeking a results-driven Director IT Project Management to lead and coordinate a range of technology projects in infrastructure deployment, scaling enterprise systems and applications and cybersecurity and data security maturity. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, technical acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This role will manage end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity projects, including networks, data centers, cloud platforms, identity management, and security tools. Coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, Security, Engineering, Quality, Compliance, Vendors) across global regions. Ensure projects align with regulatory requirements (GxP, FDA, ISO 27001) and corporate cybersecurity standards. Oversee system deployments, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning with minimal operational disruption. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies using standard PM methodologies (Agile/Hybrid/Waterfall).

The Director IT Project Management will also drive cybersecurity initiatives such as SOC enablement, vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and incident response readiness. Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, and executive communications. Support audits, validation activities, and compliance assessments related to IT and cybersecurity systems. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor. The Director IT Project Management will also undertake such tasks to manage specific internal or ad hoc projects as and when required to meet department and business needs and within the scope of the job-holder's capabilities and responsibilities. This person will also be responsible for Scope of Work tracking and execution, creating and improving tools and ways of working to drive delivery and client satisfaction.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related Computer Science field required.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Information Technology Project and Program Management
  • 5 years of leadership experience managing teams and large-scale projects or programs required
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a dynamic, fast paced work environment
  • Proficient with Project Management software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, and Smartsheet.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Highly developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly detail oriented.
  • Successful team leader with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel when required
