DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will complete a wide range of administrative and fiscal support tasks in the Bureau of Family Health's Division of Bureau Operations. You will serve as the primary information technology (IT) liaison, fill a key support role for Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) activities, and perform timekeeping functions. You will also coordinate staff equipment needs, maintain IT equipment and software inventories, and assist with budget workbook reviews, liquidation preparation, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) documentation, and bureau wide tracking. This role requires solid organizational skills and effective communication to respond to requests and provide technical or administrative assistance while coordinating routine activities with staff and partners outside the work unit. In addition, you will assist with grant monitoring functions, help with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) protocols, and backup the human resource liaison. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours allow for a schedule between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday. Your schedule will be determined.
- Telework: You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework), part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
