Location: AON PharmacyPay Range: $57,699.20 - $107,140.80 Position SummaryThe Compliance Supervisor oversees the specialty pharmacy's adherence to federal, state, and payer-specific regulations, while leading efforts to maintain and achieve accreditations (e.g.URAC, ACHC, etc). This role focuses on managing internal and external audits, developing and enforcing compliance policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring operational processes support high-quality patient care for complex, high-cost specialty medications. The supervisor collaborates with pharmacy operations, clinical, and leadership teams to mitigate risks, prepare for inspections, and promote a culture of continuous compliance and quality improvement. This role will also support the Compliance Manager with daily management and leadership for the Financial Assistance, Revenue and Compliance teams. Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures. Key Performance AreasKPA 1 - Accreditation & Regulatory Compliance * Will actively contribute to the Pharmacy Quality Management Program by understanding, compiling, trending, and presenting data. * Track and report accreditation-related metrics (e.g., standards compliance rate, survey outcomes). * Oversee internal audits and self-assessments of high-risk areas such as patient intake/enrollment, clinical monitoring, adherence programs, billing/reimbursement, drug storage/handling, and documentation of patient counseling and outcomes * Prepare for external audits and inspections from accrediting organizations (URAC/ACHC surveys), regulatory agencies (FDA, DEA, State Board of Pharmacy), payers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders. * Complete timely gap analyses, mock surveys, and corrective actions; ensure 100% readiness for accreditation surveys. * Monitor and track changes in federal/state regulations, accreditation standards, payer requirements, and industry guidelines; interpret implications for the organization and update policies, procedures, and training accordingly. * Departmental compliance with accreditation standards maintained and required documentation is completed and audit-ready at all times. KPA 2 - Training & Staff Development * Structured onboarding and ongoing training programs implemented. * Staff competency assessments completed and documented. * Identified skill gaps addressed through development plans. * Regular coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations conducted * Training materials and documentation maintained and up to date. KPA 3 - Leadership & Operational Management * Team productivity and morale maintained at high levels. * Regular team meetings and individual check-ins conducted * Departmental goals aligned with organizational strategic objectives. * Operational reports prepared and submitted accurately and timely. * Collaborative relationships maintained across departments. KPA 4 - Financial Assistance Program and Revenue Oversight * Monitor Financial assistance applications are processed accurately and within established turnaround times. * Pull reporting for approvals, denials, trends, and program outcomes accurately. * Assist with the development of metrics and ensuring compliance with federal, state and organizational guidelines as well as established timelines and benchmarks. * Assist with timecards and PTO requests of team members.
