Pay:




  • Starting at $20.25/hr






  • Biweekly pay






  • $500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates

Shifts:




  • Dayshifts available






  • 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm)






  • Plant operates on various schedules (schedule assignment determined by candidate preference and plant needs):






  • 2-2-3 schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off rotation.Working 3-4 days/week.

Summary:


Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing either the common areas of the plant or the processing room by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming and empty trash as needed.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Inventory and stocking of supply rooms as needed






  • Fill proportions with cleaning chemicals as needed






  • Ability to operate hand jacks, manlift and boom,floor scrubber, KaiVac and other cleaning equipment as required






  • Responsible for periodic deep cleaning of facilities as outlined by 3rd party audit requirements and as instructed by the Sanitation Manager






  • Understanding 5 S programs






  • Document all cleaning activities






  • Clean all computer stations,control panels,extruder motors/gear boxes,electrical cabinets (exterior),electrical lines, containers/carts,ladders,fan filters/vents, walls/floor mats, sink area/wash pit,mixer platforms, die storage room, pump station,and scales in the processing area





Minimum Qualifications:




  • Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire.






  • High School diploma or GED






  • One-month related experience or training






  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions






  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals

  • Must be in good physical condition to perform the tasks assigned.






  • Must be able to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands/arms, and talk/hear.






  • Frequently required to stand and walk and lift/move up to 25lbs.






  • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds (and pass annual lift test).






  • Work environment conditions may require/recommend the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, side shields, hearing protection and hair/beard nets.
