The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient operations across our processing and packaging lines. You will perform routine and breakdown maintenance, lead advanced troubleshooting, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement in a highly technical production environment. This position requires strong technical expertise, problemsolving ability, and leadership skills.

As a Maintenance Technician III, you will work across a broad range of equipment and technologies, offering continuous opportunities to grow your expertise. This includes:

• Automated processing & packaging equipment

• Mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

• Electrical systems including threephase motors and control circuits

• Equipment setup, rebuilds, installations, and upgrades

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, manuals, and technical diagrams

• Production utilities (e.g., compressed air, steam, water systems)

• Troubleshooting in a highly regulated foodprocessing environment

In this advanced role you will:

• Lead advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting

• Mentor and support Technician I & II team members

• Contribute to continuous improvement and equipment reliability

• Take part in capital projects and equipment upgrades

• In some locations (Little Chute), oversee the preventive maintenance program

This position is a strong stepping stone toward Lead Technician, Maintenance Specialist, Automation Technician, or supervisory roles, depending on your goals.

• Efficiently perform regular and preventative maintenance related to the plant, equipment, and grounds in compliance with standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices, and safety policies as enforced by OSHA.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment during the production process as needed.
• Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Effectively perform and assist in repair or updating and installation of equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting of equipment, including both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Complete and update work orders using in-house systems.
• Complete and maintain routine and preventive records and logs.
• Works closely with production to minimize downtime while maintaining quality.
• Perform buildings and grounds maintenance/up-keep as needed.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all plant area processes.
• Accurately read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.

• Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.

  • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
  • Support safety policies and programs.

Education Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience Required:

• Maintenance/repair experience or training preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude required.
