The Sales Support Analyst is an integral part of the sales and customer experience team. Support sales representatives, coordinate sales-related activities within the company, and ultimately contribute to achieving sales targets. The Sales Support Analyst acts as an extension of the field sales force and requires excellent organizational, analytical, research and communication skills, and an ability to deliver high standards of customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:



    • Lead new customer onboarding through account setup, item setup, pricing, product availability, and shipping requirements
    • Create and analyze sales reports utilizing Halo, Sales Force and JDE, to identify volume and margin opportunities.
    • Assist sales team with various "sales plays" including referrals, proposals, business reviews, & needs assessments.
    • Participate in Ascentek and vendor-provided product and application training
    • Embrace coaching related to sales processes and CRM
    • Actively build "internal equity"; cross-functional with all internal departments and communicate openly/effectively
    • Participate in the development, implementation, communication and training of sales strategies and objectives
    • Subject matter expert and IT Liaison for sales applications including but not limited to Sales Business Intelligence Tools, CRM Platforms, and ERP Systems.
    • Proactively develop and maintain strong relationships with cross functional peers; providing exceptional service.



    Education:



    • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field or equivalent experience


    Experience and/or Training:



    • At least 3 years of work experience in inside sales or a sales function; preferably in the petro-chemical industry
    • Minimal travel required (Other Lube-Tech locations, offsite sales meetings, customer visits or industry events)


      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



      • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
      • Excellent management skills with the ability to lead, facilitate, motivate and organize.
      • Self-starter, motivated and demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.
      • Ability to maintain calm and stay organized while constantly re-prioritizing a multitude of tasks and requests.
      • High-level mathematics, problem-solving abilities, and computer literacy.
      • Extensive knowledge of Ascentek systems, including but not limited to: ERP Systems, CRM platforms, Sales Business Intelligence Tools, Microsoft Suite Programs, and Smartsheet.
      • Applies judgement in resolving service, warranty, or technical problems with authority/knowledge.
      • Leads in testing new procedures/applications and training others.



          Education:



          • Bachelor's Degree


          Experience and/or Training:



          • Prior customer service, customer care, customer experience, sales or support specialist experience


          Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



          • Experience with customer relationship and sales management tools, such as JDE, Salesforce and Halo
          • Lubricant, chemical, and equipment sales, installation & maintenance knowledge, or experience



          Physical demands: Sitting, standing, typing/writing, repetitive motion, extensive screen usage (8+ hours/day) and wearing a headset or holding a phone. Periodic standing and moving in and out of vehicles and buildings, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, climbing and the ability to lift up to 25lbs. This role will also require travel via an automobile on periodic days when visiting customers.

          Mental Demands: Comprehend and follow instructions, perform assigned, complex, and varied tasks, maintain an appropriate work pace, relate to others, influence people, make decisions, problem solve, plan, interact with public and coworkers in written and oral form while using one or more computer applications. Continuous speaking and listening, excellent communication is an essential part of this role. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

          Environmental Demands: This role will encounter the elements of the seasons and walking in machine shops with equipment, loud noises, and possibly slippery conditions. This person will need to be always aware of their surroundings and always keep their safety in mind. Individuals must adhere to all customer safety requirements, this may require protective equipment such as safety goggles, hard hats or other PPE. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.

          The anticipated hiring range for the role you are applying for is between $32 and $36 hourly. This anticipated hiring range is based on several factors, and subject to increase based on the below:



          1. Experience and qualifications: The depth of relevant experience and specific skills you bring to the position.
          2. Education and certifications: Any additional qualifications that enhance your ability to succeed in the role.
