RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Float MRI Technologist to join our team. As a Float MRI Technologist, you'll perform high-quality MRI scans across multiple sites, gaining experience with a variety of MRI scanners while partnering with diverse care teams. This is a part-time position working 30-39 hours per week/0.9 status, Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts between the hours of 6:30am-10:30pm; includes weekend rotation (no call). Willing to train!

. This is a part-time position working 20-29 hours/week working a variety of shifts between the hours of 6:30am-10:30pm, includes float and shift differential pay and mileage (no call); includes Saturday rotation. Willing to train in MRI.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(90%) Patient MRI Imaging

1. Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two
patient identifiers to ensure the correct patient and procedure
2. Explains and prepares patients for MRI procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure,
positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned
3. Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for use by
physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of
supervision or repeated scanned, while providing patient support by talking to patients throughout
procedure
4. Adjusts MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed
5. Follows physicians' orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, and accurately maintains patient
records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
6. Maintains an orderly and clean work area including sanitized equipment promoting good safety habits
for patients and team members
7. Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects equipment after each use
8. Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements

(5%) MRI Department Support
1. Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
2. Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary
3. Assists in the training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable

(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned

Required:
1. High School diploma, or equivalent
2. Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
3. ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing, depending on State regulations
and business need
4. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
5. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
6. Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently
7. Certification in imaging specialty
