************CONTINGENT UPON AWARDING OF GOVERNMENT CONTRACT********

Program Security Officers support program security operations for highly classified environments, including Special Access Programs (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and IC Controlled Access Programs (CAP). Ensures compliance with physical, personnel, and program security requirements across multiple classification levels.

Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Program Security Officers will manage SAP/CAP access requirements and eligibility coordination.
  • Support Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) accreditation activities.
  • Program Security Officers will enforce physical and personnel access control policies.
  • Coordinate visitor security operations and access approvals.
  • Conduct security awareness briefings and training.
  • Program Security Officers will monitor and enforce physical security compliance.
  • Track and report security incidents and compliance issues.
  • Coordinate security activities with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Program Security Officers will support classification management and program security policy enforcement.
  • Provides training on safeguarding sensitive information and responds to security incidents.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

The Program Security Officers must have the:



  • Understanding of DoD, IC, and federal security standards, including SAP, CAP, and SCI requirements.
  • Knowledge of classification levels, safeguarding requirements, and SCIF operations.
  • Understanding of how to implement and enforce security policies, risk assessments, and incident response procedures.
  • Ability to effectively liaise with program stakeholders, government officials, and contractors.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving security threats and adjust procedures accordingly.
  • Ability to provide training on safeguarding sensitive information and respond to security incidents.


Minimum/General Experience:



  • 3 - 10 years of relevant experience.


Minimum Education:



  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
