Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide vital technical and hands-on support to maintain and troubleshoot bulk gas delivery systems installed within Air Products UHP Customer's facilities.
  • Provide operational oversight of facility support bulk gas equipment, including the following:
  • Daily rounds and readings
  • Generate, modify and complete detailed Site Work Instructions (SWIMs).
  • Write Temporary Work Instructions (TWI) for non-standard activities and operations; supervising of product deliveries and C of A documentation to ensure product purity is maintained.
Qualification/Requirements:
  • Ability to work safely in industrial environments.
  • Must be able to climb ladders, steps, lift equipment up to 50 lbs, and perform duties under all weather conditions.
  • Mechanical competence, troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience, strong collaborator, self-motivated, and safety conscious.
  • A background in maintaining electronic controls, pneumatic systems, pumps, pressure vessels, reciprocating and centrifugal compressors is preferred.
  • Strong abilities in communicating and working with customers and internal staff are needed for report development and other required administrative functions.
  • Proficient in using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with ultra-high purity (UHP) system components; bellows, diaphragm, VCR.
  • This role follows a Monday through Friday flex schedule, 7am - 3pm, 40 hours per week s a week.
  • There will be times it's vital to support the team in working unscheduled shifts and weekends, covering vacation days, sicks days, training, bereavement, etc.
  • This is a safety sensitive position.
Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with validated experience (1-3 years previous maintenance and mechanical experience in a plant or facility maintenance environment).
  • Technical degree preferred (but not required).
  • Military experience as a Machinist Mate, Electricians Mate, Electronic Technician, Aircraft Maintenance, or Cryogenic Technician would be well suited for this role. Technical School Graduates with experience in areas of Process or Electrical Technology, Industrial Systems, Electrical Power and Controls, Electromechanical Technology, HVAC would be well suited for this role.

Military experience as a Machinist's Mate, Electrician's Mate, Electronics Technician, Aircraft Maintenance Technician, or Cryogenic Technician is well suited for this role.

Technical school graduates with experience in process or electrical technology, industrial systems, electrical power and controls, electromechanical technology, or HVAC are also a strong fit. Related experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical work, welding, construction, vehicle or smallengine repair, fabrication, crane and rigging, fuel industry operations, or general maintenance aligns well with this position.
