As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and support orderly traffic flow for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will stay visible, conduct routine patrols nearby, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly while delivering strong customer service. This is a driving post, supporting a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at employee, visitor, and driver entry points by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, maintaining visitor and vehicle logs, and directing traffic flow to approved areas.
• Monitor alarm panels, access control systems, and camera systems to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations, and communicate findings to site contacts per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events, completing required reports, and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
