As an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support customers and staff with clear communication and great service. This post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, and parking lots, reporting unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unwanted behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical events, and/or suspicious activity, and coordinate with local law enforcement when appropriate.
• Monitor entrances, receiving areas, and other designated access points, checking credentials and/or deliveries as required by site-specific policies.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and customer interactions, and communicate security-related information to site management and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.
• An armed guard card/license is required.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required for Texas only.
• Riding a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
