Security Officer - Corporate Building

As a Security Officer - Roving Unarmed Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy transportation location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist travelers and staff with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to requests, and support site procedures while working with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, concourses, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas by checking credentials, verifying authorized entry, and directing visitors, vendors, and employees according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, suspicious activity, alarms, and/or disruptions.
• Document security-related activities, patrols, and incidents in written reports and logs, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and onsite stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
