As a Security Officer - Operations Center in Westlake Village, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with visitor management and directional support.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with onsite management and/or public responders, and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify hazards, and report maintenance concerns.
• Complete accurate reports and logs, including incident reports, patrol activity, and unusual observations, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement/military/security-related experience OR a college degree.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
