As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver II in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist employees and visitors with professional customer service. This is a driving post, supporting wider site coverage and rapid response. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and bring our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first, integrity-driven teamwork to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a tech and/or media campus by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, labs, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, assisting with visitor sign-in, badge issuance where assigned, and directing individuals to the appropriate destinations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and notifying site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete routine reports and logs, communicate observations during shift handoff, and support security-related investigations by preserving notes and available video and/or access control information per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
