The Strategic Sourcing Manager will join the Indirect Procurement team and play a key role in sourcing and negotiating IT software, hardware, and services that support the organization's technology platforms and business operations. In this role, you will partner closely with IT, engineering, finance, and legal stakeholders to lead sourcing initiatives, negotiate enterprise agreements, and manage strategic supplier relationships. You will help establish and scale procurement strategies that support a rapidly growing technology organization while ensuring suppliers deliver value, innovation, and operational efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on sourcing initiatives from strategy through execution, collaborating cross-functionally to solve complex business challenges, and negotiating agreements that drive long-term value for the organization. What You'll Do
- Lead sourcing initiatives for IT software, hardware, and services across multiple business functions.
- Manage sourcing activities for enterprise technology categories including SaaS platforms, ERP/CRM systems, and IT services.
- Conduct sourcing events including RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes to evaluate suppliers and drive competitive outcomes.
- Negotiate enterprise vendor agreements including pricing, licensing structures, limitation of liability, indemnification, and other contract terms.
- Partner with internal stakeholders including IT, engineering, legal, security, and finance to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance and total cost of ownership through benchmarking, competitive sourcing, and strategic vendor management.
- Provide guidance to internal teams on supplier selection, contract structure, and procurement best practices
- Support the end-to-end source-to-pay lifecycle by collaborating with stakeholders and finance teams to ensure smooth supplier onboarding and payment processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management.
- 4+ years of experience sourcing technology categories such as enterprise software, SaaS, IT infrastructure, or IT services.
- Experience negotiating enterprise vendor agreements and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong understanding of contract structures including licensing models, limitation of liability, and indemnification provisions.
- Experience leading sourcing initiatives and managing RFx processes.
- Strong analytical and business acumen with the ability to evaluate supplier proposals and total cost of ownership.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter who can operate independently and drive sourcing strategies in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Master's degree or MBA in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience sourcing technology solutions within high-growth technology organizations.
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) environments or working closely with engineering or program management teams.
