*Position Overview* The Insurance & Real Estate Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the administration of property insurance across a portfolio of trust or real estate assets. This role works closely with internal real estate officers and operations teams to ensure all properties maintain proper coverage, policies are renewed on schedule, and documentation is accurate and up to date. The ideal candidate is detailoriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing timesensitive insurance and propertyrelated workflows.
*Key Responsibilities* * Coordinate with internal real estate teams to confirm that all properties maintain appropriate insurance coverage. * Track policy expiration dates and ensure timely renewal of property and master insurance policies. * Review insurance claims, policy renewals, and propertyrelated coverage (casualty, liability, and property policies). * Maintain accurate insurance records, documentation, and policy files across physical records and internal systems. * Monitor property insurance requirements and communicate discrepancies or required updates to internal stakeholders and external insurance contacts. * Assist in preparing insurance reports, renewal documentation, and committee or internal review materials. * Ensure confidential information is handled with discretion and in accordance with organizational standards. * Utilize insurance and property management systems to support policy tracking, updates, and recordkeeping. *Qualifications* * Associate's degree in business, accounting, information management, or related field - or equivalent work experience. * 2+ years of experience in insurance services, banking, financial services, or an operational support role. * Experience reviewing insurance policies, claims, or renewals is preferred. * Familiarity with real property insurance coverage, pricing, or property management systems is a plus. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate, current documentation across multiple properties. * Highly detailoriented with a proven ability to prepare errorfree reports. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet renewal deadlines and manage annual policy updates. * Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external vendors. * Ability to exercise discretion when working with confidential financial, property, or client information. * Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and comfort with insurance or property management software environments. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Honolulu, HI. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
