Patient Registration Representative (Onsite - Hospital Setting) Location: Onsite - Hospital Schedule: Onsite, patientfacing role About the Role We're looking for a compassionate and detailoriented Patient Registration Representative to join our hospital team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients arriving for appointments related to CPAP equipment fittings. Your work will play a key role in ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience while supporting accurate registration, insurance verification, and documentation processes. What You'll Do * Greet and assist patients onsite, ensuring a positive and professional experience from arrival through registration * Register patients accurately and review required documentation for completeness and compliance * Verify insurance coverage, eligibility, coinsurance, and deductibles with payers * Review clinical documentation to determine qualification and compliance for equipment and services * Support process improvement initiatives by assisting with workflow optimization, verification, and data accuracy * Develop and maintain knowledge of current products, services, and payer guidelines * Collaborate with internal teams across customer service, intake, operations, and revenue cycle functions What You'll Bring * Strong customer service skills with a patientfirst mindset * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and stay organized * Comfort working independently as well as part of a team * Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications * Ability to learn new systems and understand how data flows across platforms * Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive attitude in a changing healthcare environment Preferred (Not Required) * General knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans * Familiarity with healthcare documentation and insurance verification processes * Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting Hours Mon-Fri 8am-5pm fully onsite Why Join Us? * Make a direct impact on patients' care and experience * Gain valuable experience in hospital operations and healthcare administration * Work in a supportive, teamoriented environment * Entrylevel opportunity with exposure to multiple areas of the healthcare revenue cycle Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Festus, MO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
