This position may be filled as a Radiographer Level 1, 2, or 3, depending on individual experience, certifications, education, and other qualifications. What you can expect:
The Interventional Technologist I assists Physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose, monitor and treat simple to complex conditions, defects and/or diseases without surgery. This position is intended for those who are gaining experience in Interventional Radiology or Invasive Cardiology or are experienced Imaging professionals who wish to begin a career in the discipline. Essential Responsibilities Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. General Responsibilities:
Level I Minimum Qualifications: Education: A graduate of post-secondary educational program in a health science (includes, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, or paramedic/EMT) as defined by ARRT or CCI. Completion of JRCERT accredited Military Educational Program is accepted in lieu of other educational requirements. Experience: No experience required. License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. ARRT(RT), RCES or RCIS certification required within 18 months of hire. Level II Minimum Qualifications Education: Associate's Degree required. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in interventional radiography or invasive cardiology required License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. One of the following certifications required at hire: ARRT(RT)(VI), ARRT(RT)(CI), RCES issued by CCI or RCIS issued by CCI Level III Minimum Qualifications: Education: Associate's Degree required. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in interventional radiography or invasive cardiology required. License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. One of the following certifications required at hire: ARRT(RT)(VI), ARRT(RT)(CI), RCES issued by CCI or RCIS issued by CCI Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
