Position Title: General Labor

Wage: $18.60/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 4:30pm-3am

Join a small crew that does big things! Work hands-on in the finishing department and gain experience as well as exposure to the North America's leading tank provider. This is a temporary General Labor role in Darien, WI.

General Labor Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Operate brake and turret press machines according to instructions

- Quality check machines throughout shift

- Perform precision smoothing, polishing, or grinding of stainless steel objects

- Understand blueprints for manufacturing of the product

Inspection and Quality Control

- Ensure that products meet the required specifications and quality standards

- Inspect tanks, containers, or products for any defects or imperfections

Surface Treatment

- Clean, polish, or paint the final product to ensure it has a smooth finish and is visually appealing

- Apply protective coatings or seals to the product, especially if it's designed to hold liquids or withstand weather elements

Assembly

- Assemble parts of the product that are manufactured separately; for example, attaching valves, fittings, or other components to a tank or container

- Final assembly work may also involve testing to ensure all components function as intended

Packaging and Labeling

- Prepare the finished products for shipment by packaging them appropriately

- Add labels or barcodes that include product information or safety warnings

Final Testing

- In some cases, test the finished product to ensure it functions properly, such as leak testing a tank or checking for durability

General Labor Requirements:

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

- Lift up to 75 pounds with partner if needed

- Able to withstand a hot environment

- Some industrial experience is preferred

- Understand verbal and written instructions given by supervisor in English

- Basic math skills

- Able to read and understand a blueprint to measure parts for accuracy
