As a Screener with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, greet associates and visitors, and support security-related screening at key entry points. You will check identification, verify access, observe activity, and document concerns while staying highly visible to help to deter unwanted incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, contractors, and visitors entering and exiting the facility by verifying identification, checking authorization lists, and monitoring access points in accordance with site instructions.
• Inspect inbound and outbound packages, parcels, and shipments as assigned by using approved screening methods and documenting exceptions according to site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity through the established notification chain.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, dock areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site and shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
