TEKsystems is hiring a Controls Systems Engineer in Herndon, VA to support construction and commissioning of largescale data center projects with a strong focus on BMS/BAS and EPMS controls systems. In this role, candidates must have both strong project management capabilities and handson technical skills, as they will manage system integrators and controls vendors while ensuring all schedule, scope, and quality requirements are met. The engineer will also perform technical tasks such as troubleshooting, configuration, and validating the installation and functionality of sensors, controls hardware, and networking components. Ideal applicants should have deep controls fundamentals, experience with PLC/DDC/DCS systems and industrial protocols like Modbus and MQTT, and preferably hold a PMP or PE certification. This role offers the opportunity to drive highimpact work within missioncritical data centers using innovative, cuttingedge controls technologies.
