As a Security Officer - Routine Patrol in Norman, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist guests and store teams with directions, access questions, and incident reporting, using clear communication and professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, loading and receiving areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, assisting with medical calls, and coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe customer traffic patterns, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
• Complete shift logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and communicate notable activity during post briefings and/or handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
