Security Officer - Armed Parking Deck Patrol

As a Security Officer - Armed Parking Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific, security-related procedures and post orders at a financial institution location.
• Carry and maintain issued equipment per policy and applicable training requirements, and follow all armed post guidelines while on duty.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and assist with emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the building, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Complete detailed written reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management, and support investigations as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
