Job Description




As a Security Officer in Sheboygan Falls, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will control access points, observe and report unusual activity, and support a professional visitor experience through clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors and personnel by following site-specific security-related procedures, post orders, and/or emergency response activities for a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and assisting with incident stabilization as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, tank farms, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification and authorization, directing visitors to required check-in processes, and documenting entries and exits per site policy.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrol observations, access activity, incidents, and/or maintenance issues, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
