Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be the main point of contact for an essential part of the supply chain, responsible for maintaining safety standards to ensureproducts are delivered safely and efficiently to our customers.

The work model for the role is: onsite.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Motivates, organizes, and encourages teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are met.
  • Develop and maintain metrics/KPIs, reports, process documentation, internal customer service logs, and training and safety records.
  • Risk prevention plan in accordance with the tasks and the nature of the installation. In this inspection, in addition to the condition of the racks, the conditions of the pallets, the adequacy of the forklifts and load units to the racks, as well as the correctness of the maneuvers by the workers.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal and or the companys regulations.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field and 2 years warehouse distribution or manufacturing supervision experience OR Associate degree and 4 years related experience OR HS diploma/GED and 6 years related experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, SAP, and MRP/ERP purchasing software.
  • 1st shift position 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
