Responsibilities Responsible for delivering safe, efficient and effective patient care while meeting all compliance and other established rules and regulations governing the home infusion/home health industry. The Director, Pharmacy Infusion Services provides overall strategic direction and leadership for enterprise pharmacy infusion services and related office-based infusion services. The Director is responsible for the development and execution of services, management of operations including high quality service delivery, meeting customer expectations, clinical effectiveness and patient safety. This includes the development and implementation of quality assurance and improvement program, human resources management, state, federal and applicable regulatory and accreditation compliance, evaluation of operating and capital resource needs and effective financial management related to productivity and budgeting. Additionally, the Director, Pharmacy Infusion Services serves as an operational resource and participate in enterprise-wide strategic discussions surrounding program expansion, payer network inclusion and contracting strategies and will oversee all staff supporting these services. This role is directly accountable for driving market development and financial performance while providing direct oversight for all operations in multiple locations including pharmacy dispensing and nursing.This position interacts independently with internal and external stakeholders, including, but not limited to, payers, PBMs, internal/external nursing agencies, manufacturers, and distributors.
