Civil Service Title- Accountant II Minimum Qualifications 1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, accredited by regional, national, professional or specialized agencies recognized as accrediting bodies by the U.S. Secretary of Education and by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), including or supplemented by 24 semester credits in accounting, including one course each in advanced accounting and auditing; or Preferred Skills
Proficient in FMS2, FMS3, and Passport Knowledge of the NYC budget process and OTPS tracking Experience with purchase requisitions and invoice processing Familiar with NYC procurement rules, M/WBE, and preferred vendors Skilled in vendor coordination and internal collaboration Strong in Excel and Microsoft Office tools Experience with grant-funded budgets and compliance Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills 55a Program
