EEG Tech Job Ref: 33870 Category: Radiology & Imaging Location: 133 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742 Department: Neurology Schedule: Per Diem Shift: Day shift Hours: 0700-1930 Pay Range: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Job Summary Reporting to the Director of Cardio/Pulmonary/Neurology/Sleep Disorders, performs a variety of electroencephalographic (EEG) and neurological testing procedures on in-patients and outpatients. Minimum Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of a two year program in EEG and/or Evoked Potential Testing recognized by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) preferred. The Hospital will provide competency-based on-the-job training if cleared by Medical Director, in lieu of a two year program. The duration of training and proficiency will be determined by the Administrative Director and Medical Director. Experience 1 year of previous patient care/healthcare experience required. Three to five years EEG lab experience preferred. Licensure and/or Certification BLS healthcare provider required. R. EEG T., R. EP T., and/or CNIM preferred. Skills Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to make patients comfortable with testing. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. Computer skills required.
