The pharmacy technician I, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations. Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality. Does related work, as required.

Job Requirements:

• High School graduate or GED.

• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by the state of employment.

• Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 1 year of previous hospital pharmacy technician experience.

• National Certification (CPhT) (may be required by the state of employment).

• Current BLS.
