Job Summary
The Clinical Dietetic Technician is responsible for coordinating the nutritional care of residents, including completing nutritional assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and documenting dietary information. This role ensures that residents receive appropriate diets and nutritional services, working in collaboration with campus and nutrition leadership.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Completes initial nutrition screenings and comprehensive assessments.
* Completes MDS assessments as scheduled.
* Assists with high-risk nutrition documentation.
* Implements nutrition care plans.
* Reviews of diets and weights routinely with recommendations as needed.
* Assists with mealtime services as needed.
* Assists with survey preparedness.
* Attends meetings as assigned.
* Provides resident and staff nutrition education as requested.
* Collaborates with assigned Registered dietitian as needed.
* Uses proper body mechanics and burn prevention techniques.
* Reports accidents, injuries, or near-misses to the supervisor immediately.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education: Associate Degree
Experience: 1-3 years

Licenses and Certifications
Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred.

Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
