Job Details

Our Facilities Maintenance Associate plays a very important role in keeping our Warehouse in working order. They are responsible for all preventative maintenance and repair of the facility/equipment to keep our space running efficiently, effectively, and safely.


Primary Responsibilities



  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair on warehouse fleet to include fabrication of parts

    • Raymond, Hyster, Crown, Unicarrier MHE equipment - Propane & electric


  • Track and perform monthly preventive maintenance on all key equipment


  • Perform/oversee/track preventative maintenance and repair of facility/key equipment to include electric, plumbing, HVAC systems, building construction and janitorial services
  • Oversee maintenance of grounds including sprinkler systems, storm water treatments and landscaping
  • Repair, oversee equipment repairs and maintenance including pallet wrap machines, conveyor, battery chargers, dock levelers, overhead doors (manual and power), racking systems and system compressors
  • Utilize and work with outside vendors on all major electrical and mechanical equipment, janitorial and grounds maintenance
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment per state's safety and health laws (Occupational Safety and Health Administration-OSHA and Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act-WISHA)
  • Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers and others you come into contact with through your job
  • Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned

Work will be performed mostly indoors and outdoors, when necessary.

  • Lift/carry/push/pull up to 165 lbs.
  • Bend/stoop/crouch/squat/use arms/wrists/hands/grasp
  • Climb stairs/ladder occasionally
  • Work indoors and outdoors


Expected Hours of Work


This is a full-time position. Days/hours of work vary and may include weekends.

Required Education and Experience



  • High School diploma or GED
  • Forklift/pallet jack certified
  • Maintain a valid driver license with acceptable driving record


Preferred Education and Experience



  • Experience in fabrication, welding, fiberglass and sheet metal repair
  • Operate forklift and warehouse sled



Compensation



  • Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.

Employees are also eligible for 80 hours of vacation every year and 7-8 days of paid holidays throughout the calendar year (depending on location).
