Project Applications Engineer

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with sales, design, and production teams to understand customer needs and develop tailored mechanical solutions.
• Analyze customer specifications and propose suitable product configurations and modifications.
• Prepare technical documentation, including CAD drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and application reports.
• Provide technical support to customers during pre-sale and post-sale stages, including on-site visits if required.
• Communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, applications engineering, or project work in rotating equipment industry.
• Experience working with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractors.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or engineering design drawings.
• Experience bidding and management industrial equipment projects.
• Familiarity with distribution model and/or industrial equipment sales.
• Experience with rotating equipment product lines and manufacturers, size and selection of pumps and rotating equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
