We are seeking a Senior Storage Sales Leader focused on driving market share growth in Lenovo's growing Storage Solutions Business.

With digital transformation reshaping the IT landscape, Lenovo's heritage of data center innovation, reliability and value is more relevant than ever. We are looking for leaders to help us shape Lenovo's future and create a strong consultative selling approach that matches the wide range of Lenovo solutions.

The Lenovo Storage Sales Team is a world-wide group of subject matter expert sellers responsible for the growth of Lenovo storage solutions. This organization works directly with Lenovo's customers, partners and direct sellers to promote and close storage solutions.

In this position, you will be leading a storage sales organization and responsible for the sales plan and team. You will be responsible for developing a business plan with your team and extended team to meet and exceed assigned quota.

We need a leader who understands the Data Management business and has experience selling into the channel and can work in a matrixed sales environment. Excellent consultative selling, technology selling, presentation, business management and communication skills are necessary. This position will be report directly to the VP of Infrastructure Sales, North America.

The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Create a focused and impactful organization that will lead Lenovo in a consultative approach to selling with clients.
  • Create a partnership with Lenovo leaders along with the ecosystem of technical sellers, account executives and partners.
  • Create a plan to deliver on quarterly and yearly sales and business commitments.
  • Demonstrate excellence in the ability to drive Lenovo Storage opportunities within Lenovo's client base and acquisition prospects across all industries.
  • Demonstrate clear awareness of data center solutions market pressures, trends, and transitions.
  • Articulate the business value Lenovo next generation data center solutions to C-Level executives and partners.
  • Have extensive experience selling to companies greater than 1500 employees, complex selling cycle technology adopters, and Fortune 500 companies.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of working with complex strategic accounts and leading sales people to manage complex strategic selling opportunities.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Exceed revenue and profit sales objectives for Lenovo's Storage solutions business. Drive and manage the storage funnel to achieve this directive.
  • Manage large and geographically diverse team across EMEA
  • Create strong relationships with Lenovo county managers, Lenovo's channel execs, and Distribution to drive strategic territory plans.
  • Recruit new Channel partners that enhance the Lenovo solution selling approach.
  • Understand and articulate Lenovo's vision, strategy and architectural approach to data center solutions
  • Work with channel partners in territory and to drive and execute a Lenovo data center solutions sales plan.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5-10+ years of successful experience managing people and delivering on a large territory plan in a growing business environment.
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience selling data center technologies specifically in the storage and Data Management space.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong Channel experience and relationships across EMEA market
  • Proven track record in leading and winning major Server, Networking, and/or Storage business.
  • Candidate should have excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as good listening and strong presentation skills
  • Experienced in multi-level selling and comfortable in influencing CxOs, IT Directors, Systems Managers, IT Managers, etc.
  • Strong solutions focused selling expertise based around a combination of Application, Server, Virtualization, Networking and Storage technologies
