The Manufacturing Manager oversees all aspects of the production process for office furniture manufacturing, ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and timely delivery. This role involves managing production schedules, leading a team and driving continuous improvements in manufacturing processes.
* Maintain quality level to customer's expectation. * Participate as a member of the staff setting direction and focus for the manufacturing operation. * Set direction for continuous improvement of employee (member) morale. * Coordinate with Master Schedulers and execute the production plan. * Reduce complexity in the manufacturing process. * Communicate and coordinate with all departments. * Plan for capacity, resources and equipment needs. * Utilize personal continuous improvement to develop leadership skills on the shop floor. * Provide performance feedback for developmental planning concerning all direct reports. * Follow all safety guidelines and uses required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Follow and support the Quality system. * Performs job rotation as directed. * Support our Environmental Management System (EMS). | |
