Our teams design solutions to some of the world's greatest challenges across water, power and energy, transportation, health, education, defense and intelligence, and urban and community development. To support these efforts, our Corporate Marketing department engages in campaigns and events, graphic design and digital media, web development, pursuit management, artificial intelligence platforms, and training.

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Video Production & Photography Intern to support our Visual Media Team in producing highquality video and photo content. This role is ideal for students or earlycareer creatives looking to gain hands-on experience with cameras, lighting, production workflows, and media management in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Production Assistance

  • Set up and break down cameras, lighting, audio gear, backdrops, and photography equipment.

  • Assist production staff on set with equipment handling, cable management, lighting adjustments, and general crew needs.

  • Capture basic broll footage or still photos under supervision, following brand or project guidelines.

  • Support portrait sessions, event photography, product photography, or documentation shoots as needed.

  • Maintain a safe, tidy, and professional shooting environment.

  • Ensure proper care and handling of all cameras, lenses, lighting kits, audio devices, tripods, and photography tools.

PostProduction Tasks

  • Import and organize footage and photos following established workflows and naming conventions.

  • Assemble rough video cuts, select clips, and perform simple edits under supervision.

  • Cull, tag, and select photos; perform basic photo retouching, color correction, and editing.

  • Assist with simple graphics insertion, color cleanup, and audio adjustments.

  • Prepare final videos and photo exports for internal use, social media, or client review.

  • Clear, archive, or delete media assets according to team protocols to maintain organized storage.

  • Ensure all project files-photo and video-are correctly labeled, backed up, and stored

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with producers, editors, motion designers, and project managers.
  • Participate in team critiques, brainstorms, and review sessions.
  • Communicate progress, ask questions, and proactively seek feedback to grow skills.

Equipment Care & Asset Management

  • Clean, inspect, and return equipment to its designated storage location after every use.
  • Report any damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment to the visual media team immediately.
  • Wipe media cards, drives, and cameras only after confirming footage has been safely backed up.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory lists, checking gear in/out, and organizing equipment rooms or storage racks.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized postproduction workspace by removing unused files and following digital housekeeping standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing studies in video production, photography, film, media, or related fields.

  • Basic understanding of both video and photo concepts (lighting, composition, exposure, audio fundamentals).

  • Intro-level proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and Lightroom or Photoshop.

  • Familiarity with After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or DSLR/mirrorless cameras is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills and willingness to follow established workflows.

The position is located in Omaha, NE, USA.

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program

  • Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
