As the Manager of Business Process Engineering, you will help WGU operationalize its mission by leading a team that engineers efficient, studentcentered processes across the university. About the Institutional Portfolio Management DepartmentInstitutional Portfolio Management (IPM) sits within the CFO organization and drives strategic execution across the WGU system. The department manages portfolios of enterprise initiatives aligned to WGU's strategic plan. IPM enables leaders to execute bold, systemwide change by designing innovative business processes that improve productivity and scale, building enterprise capabilities in Agile Innovation and Portfolio Management, and identifying risks while driving cost efficiency and waste reduction. About the Business Process Engineering TeamThe Business Process Engineering (BPE) team is responsible for building and optimizing the processes that support WGU's endtoend operations. The team advances WGU's business process maturity, creates clarity in complex systems, and designs scalable, futureready processes that support growth. Every BPE initiative is tied to improved student and employee experiences, operational efficiency, and enterprise-wide alignment. Role OverviewThe Manager of Business Process Engineering leads a team of Business Process Engineers and reports to the Vice President of Institutional Portfolio Management. This role is responsible for engineering new or reengineering existing processes to support WGU's longterm strategy and nearterm operational goals. The manager oversees process design, implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement across key portfolios while collaborating with stakeholders across the university. This is a highvisibility role that engages in major transformation initiatives and requires strong leadership, executive communication, and technical process design expertise. What You'll Do
