Location: Hamilton, NJ 08625

Pay Rate: $21.00/hr. on W2 without benefits

Duration: 6+ months

Work hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm OR 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): Day

Job Description:


  • Familiarity with asset inventories, appraisals, or auction processes
  • Experience in legal, probate, guardianship, or financial administration
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills
  • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Proficiency with Excel and database systems


Role & Responsibilities:

  • The Office of the Public Client (OPG) serves New Jersey residents age 60 and older who are unable to manage their personal, medical, and financial affairs and lack a suitable Client.
  • Appointed by the court, OPG protects clients' rights and well-being and ensures the responsible management of benefits, assets, and essential services through collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • The Administrative Staff Assistant will work with a senior administrative support specialist in our real and personal property unit to provide specialized administrative and coordination support for identifying, documenting, and managing clients' personal property.
  • This role works closely with internal staff, external appraisers, and auction partners to ensure accurate tracking, compliance, and timely follow-up.


Required Skills:

  • Catalog personal client property identified by field staff for management, storage, and/or disposition.
  • Maintain detailed logs and documentation in Legal Secure and other internal systems.
  • Coordinate with OPG attorneys and staff, appraisers, auctioneers, and family members regarding the appraisal and disposition of the client's personal property.
  • Investigate and identify potentially valuable client property.
  • Review and verify client financial records and funds related to asset management.
  • Support audit and compliance reviews related to the handling of client personal property.
  • Adhere to established confidentiality and security protocols.
