Overview Job Title: Mid-Career Electrical Controls Engineer Location: Arnold AFB, TN Job Family Code: O - Engineering Function/Branch: Engineering/ID&C Branch Directorate: Engineering & Tech Support Position Type: Regular, Full-Time Pay Type: Exempt Grade: L08 (OA0803) Salary Range: $90,000 - $135,000 / year Overview Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Electrical Controls Engineer who is passionate about industrial automation and control systems. The successful candidate will take the lead on upgrading and maintaining critical facility and motion control systems to meet specified plant and test conditions. This role requires the application of control theory, electrical standards, and PLC software expertise to develop system requirements, specifications, and designs. The candidate will also oversee the installation and deployment of these systems. This position provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with a large team of dedicated engineering professionals; all focused on achieving customer satisfaction while delivering projects on time and within budget. Open to internal and external candidates. This position may require occasional extended hours and weekend work to meet critical contractual requirements and to support outage activities. Occasional travel between AEDC facilities may also be necessary. Job Summary The successful candidate will apply expertise in electrical design, safety standards, programming, configuration management, and testing to develop complex electrical and control systems. They will also assist with requirements development, cost and schedule estimation, procurement, fabrication, and system deployment. Job Duties: Electrical Controls Engineers are critical to the execution of the test mission at AEDC. Some of the specific duties for this mid-level position include: Core Responsibilities

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount BNH is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time jobs will be adjusted based upon the number of hours agreed to work.
Arnold Air Force Base $90,000 - $135,000.
